TV animated Bible series ‘Superbook’, which was popular during the 80′s, relaunched as ‘Superbook Reimagined’ — targeting the NOW generation with 3D graphics to match today’s storytelling techniques. Watch and relive significant events from the Bible unfold along with Chris, Joy and the cool robot, Gizmo.
Mr. Edwin Arceo (CBN Asia) was kind enough to add me to his list for the Superbook SuperLaunch media event last May 25, despite not being a mommy blogger. Thank you po!
“Let My People Go”
Mr. Icko Gonzalez, Superbook Philippines Project Head shared a few words about Superbook. That same day, we were lucky to be the first ones to watch one of the episodes (104)!
God sometimes chooses someone who may seem the least likely choice for a task, but they are the actually the one who will carry it out the best. It’s a casual day in the lab and Chris and Joy are bored. Gizmo is practicing card tricks. They discuss about their ‘best ever’ Superbook adventures when Superbook takes them to the time of Moses. He contends he’s not the best choice to lead the Israelites out of oppression in Egypt.
The episode was long enough for kids (most of them have short attention span) and easy to understand, unlike if they will watch The Bible TV miniseries (which is 2 hours per episode). I believe that not only children will benefit from this, but also for people who are only beginning to learn about Christianity. Nobody’s too old for animation and Bible stories anyway
Make it a habit to wake up early, even on weekends. Catch Superbook every Saturday and Superbook Classic every Sunday, 7:30AM on GMA 7!
