Around ten years ago, I was playing around my mom’s RAZR V3. I loved its keypad and bigger screen, how thin it was, and how sosyal it felt whenever I had to flip it open. I haven’t heard much about Motorola since then.
That was until this week, when I saw photos on my Facebook feed from blogger friends holding a smartphone with the brand’s logo on it. Motorola is making a comeback in the Philippines with three of its Moto devices.
No Nexus 6, Moto 360
Its 5.2-inch FULL HD (1080p) AMOLED display, 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 423 ppi, comes with Gorilla Glass 3.
Moto X is capable of shooting 13-megapixel photos and videos with resolutions up to 4K. Its rear facing camera has auto-focus and dual LED flash. Take your selfies or do video chats with its 2-megapixel front facing camera.
The phone has 16GB of internal storage and, unfortunately, does not support microSD expansion. A 2,300 mAh non-removable battery powers up the device.
Other features include 4G/LTE, 3G/HSPA+, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS and NFC support.

This mid-range phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and is powered by Snapdragon 400 chipset and Cortex-A7 quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and 2,070 mAh non-removable battery.

The LTE+3G model will be made available for purchase in the Philippines.
Moto E is available in white or black. To add more color, swap the accent band around your device with red, blue, golden yellow, turquoise, purple or raspberry.
Motorola, who used to be part of Google and is now a Lenovo company, is the first to receive major updates from Android.
Moto X is available for purchase at P16,990, Moto G at P8,499 and Moto E at P6,999.
All phones will be available at partner stores in the coming weeks.
