Convenience retailer 7-Eleven is back with its fun mock poll, in time for the 2022 Philippine elections.
Can’t wait to vote? Voting precincts are now open in your nearest 7-Eleven store through 7-Election, a safe space to #SpeakCUP and be heard while enjoying one’s beverage of choice in this warm, sunny climate. It is also the unofficial and unscientific way to support presidential bets (and have been successful in predicting winners of past elections since 2010).
Choose from one of six available cups, each representing a presidential candidate (Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Ping Lacson, City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Senator Manny Pacquiao, and Bongbong Marcos), plus an undecided cup for those who have yet to make a decision.
Customers are allowed to vote multiple times and even change their minds in the middle of the campaign because sa 7-Eleven, walang basagan ng drink! Just avail of a GULP or City Cafe drink (starting at P35 and P39 respectively) from over 3,000 7-Eleven stores nationwide to participate in the activity. Each scanned cup, which comes with a unique barcode, is counted as one vote.
7-Eleven customers may visit the 7-Election microsite (www.7-election.com.ph) to view the tallyboard (updated every Friday).
This fun activity also aims to promote voter awareness, encourage responsible voting, and ultimately, give the public a chance to be heard while engaging in healthy conversations with fellow Filipinos. Kaya drop by your nearest 7-Eleven store to #SpeakCUP! Voting ends April 27!
