Just in time for International Dog’s Day, celebrated every August 26, SM Supermalls in partnership with Doodles Paw Couture and Team Doggie’s Choice launched the first ever SM Pet Park!
We had dogs when we were still living in Marikina. They are treated as family but were never let out to play/exercise. They would stay inside or in the garage to guard our house. Nowadays, people take care of pets like their own children. They’d like to bring them around when they go out but there’s only a number of pet-friendly places in the metro. Luckily, pet owners now have a go-to place when in Rizal!
SM Pet Park
The facility features an agility area for the dogs, mini pet pool, colorful benches, an event area for future pet events and Doggie’s Choice Pet Village.
The opening was full of activities for both pets and their humans with a pet blessing, free grooming, photobooth, games, raffles and SM Pet Ambassador Competition.
SM Pet Club
As a pet-friendly mall, you can also bring your dogs and cats within SM City Taytay’s premises! Hand-carried pets or those placed in a pet-carrier are allowed in the mall interior while leashed pets are only allowed at the mall perimeter and arcade.
Just register them with SM Pet Club and avail of these exclusive perks:

To apply, go to the Mall Admin Office’s Marketing Department (Basement 2 Building B) and secure a form. Present this with a single or accumulated receipt purchase of P1000 from any store of SM City Taytay.
I’m glad that Rizaleno pet owners need not to worry about leaving their furbabies at home when running errands at the mall. Also, no need to travel far for them to play with their pets and meet fellow furparents. I hope more SM Pet Parks are opened all over the country 🙂
