Shopee has set its sights on the future by unveiling its latest innovations that aim to make online shopping even more accessible, easy, and enjoyable for the rising generation of Filipino shoppers.

The big reveal happened during the recent “Shopee Summer Surprise” event, and it came alongside the exciting announcement of BINI as their newest brand ambassador and #AngDaliDaliSaShopee campaign.

The launch of Shopee’s innovations comes at an opportune moment as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) focuses on building trust between online buyers and sellers through the E-Commerce Philippines 2024-2028 Roadmap, striving for easy yet exciting commerce.

Shopee also shared that Gen Z shoppers are shown to take their time conducting in-depth research for their purchases, with top considerations including a seamless return and refund process and fast delivery services.

Beyond their consumer choices, Shopee also gleaned insights into what matters most to this generation: authenticity, social connectivity, and individuality. BINI, the rising girl group in the country, holds the essence of these values, which is what led to them becoming Shopee’s newest brand ambassador and the face of Gen Z. As the new brand ambassador, BINI will be the face of Shopee’s campaigns to amplify the platform’s commitment to bringing joy to shoppers and empowering them to pursue what they desire through the platform confidently.
