ABS-CBN’s Primetime Teen King Daniel Padilla described working with his family “parang family reunion” during the upcoming movie’s “Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak“ blogcon last January 9.
For the very first time, the respected and talented Padilla clan stars in one explosive, action-packed family drama movie led by his uncle, the iconic action superstar Robin Padilla along with renowned TV host and actress Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla; his cousins, teleserye stars Kylie and Bella Padilla; and brothers, RJ and Matt Padilla.
The movie is a different take on the true to life story of Ongkoy (Robin), who was once the leader of the infamous anti-vigilante group “Kurating Baleleng”. We will see a different Daniel and Kylie who portrays Nato and Anna respective. Nato is one of the sons of Ongkoy, along with RJ and Matt while Anna is a government spy. During the blogcon, the young actors shared their experience doing their own stunts, what their favorite scenes are in the movie and how was it filming inside a prison (in which they helped clean the restroom).
The movie also stars Christopher De Leon, Dina Bonnevie, Rommel Padilla, Karla Estrada, Pen Medina, Lito Pimentel, Dennis Padilla, Aljur Abrenica, and Bugoy Carino among many others.
Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak, written and directed by Jon Villarin under Star Cinema and RCP Productions, shows in cinemas nationwide starting January 29.
