Maligayang ika-isang daan at labing pintong taon ng kasarinlan, Pilipinas!
Hello, national holiday! You may be at home taking advantage of the extra rest day, out of town with family/friends or reporting to work (with premium pay of course :p). Some of us are celebrating our freedom as a nation by being creative and entertaining on Twitter 😀
#RP612fic or “Republic of the Philippines June 12 fiction” is an annual online storytelling event that started in 2009. Twitter site users come up with single-tweet stories that alternate Philippine history using pop culture references (song lyrics, commercial/movie lines, etc.) or transporting historical figures in the modern time. Local artists also contribute re-imagined versions of known Filipino literary works.
