Saddleback Manila is bringing together the brightest minds in business with speakers like Boris Joaquin, Seasoned Management & Marketing Professional and Ron Gess, Associate Director for Verizon Technical Services, who is flying in from California. Damon Harrison, who will be coming in with Ron, will conduct a SHAPE Discovery session – a fun self-discovery activity. Of course, we will be showing a message from Pastor Rick Warren!

Speaker Profiles

  • Boris Joaquin is one of the country’s top-ranked public speaker and trainer for leadership programs and other soft skills. Boris started his career as a personal assistant to the owner and president of a big and thriving advertising agency right after college. He was later on assigned as an account executive of major accounts, and eventually became one of the agency’s senior account managers. After his stint in advertising, he served in leadership positions for consumer goods companies and a publishing group, for which he became the Vice President for Marketing at the age of only 28.  Presently, he’s the Managing Director of Copylandia Office Systems Corporation. He is also the Managing Partner of Team Meta, a convergence group partnering with industry mavens in the areas of online marketing, mobile and web app development, and other online needs. Boris is also the Master Trainer and Country Representative of the Lead Like Jesus Training Program and the main facilitator of the transformational leadership program, Servant Leader Workshop. He also shares his expertise in the fields of marketing, customer service, social entrepreneurship, fund raising, and corporate social responsibility as a speaker in conferences and for various corporations and NGOs.

  • Ron Gess is an Associate Director for Verizon Wireless Technical Services. Verizon Wireless is the largest wireless provider in the US. Ron has 21 years of experience in IT-Telecommunications. He oversees the teams that manage the databases, web, servers, storage, and Cloud at Verizon. Previously, he was an IT Consultant in the government, petroleum and aerospace industries. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from California State University, San Diego.  Ron has been a member of Saddleback Church since 2000.
  • Rick Warren founded Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA in 1980 at his house. Today, Saddleback is home to over 20,000 members. He is the best selling author of The Purpose Drive Life, which has sold over 50 million copies worldwide.

  4. This is great, I wanted to attend this kind of seminars but sadly I am so far away and going to Manila will be very costly. Hope many will attend to this event because I am sure they will learn a lot from the speakers.

  5. I’d love to go but it’s conflicting my regular work so I couldn’t make it to be part of the event. I wish there’s still next time.

  6. This could have been very appealing, if it’s near in Cebu. Looking forward if you have an event here. While it is FREE I know many will grab this opportunity.
