It’s a competitive world out there and a post-graduate degree, especially from an international institution, can put you on an advantage.
I was in high school when I thought of undertaking a second course or a masters degree. Constant learning has always been my thing, wanting to do something for my personal growth. One day my best friend C was telling me about studying in Europe for free through the Erasmus Mundus programme, one of the many scholarship options available to foreign students. For someone who used to dream about visiting this enigmatic continent, this presented a wonderful opportunity.
So why study in Europe? European Union (EU) Ambassador Franz Jesen says that “universities in EU member-states are known for their strong emphasis on creativity, innovation, cutting-edge technology and support. Europe is also welcoming foreign students from all over the world, social activities are well programmed to make the students feel at home.”
If you are aspiring to pursue post-graduate studies in Europe or a faculty member / academician, I’d like to personally invite you to the European Higher Education Fair 2016 happening on the 10th of November at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City.
Its fifth run, with the theme “Sustaining Innovation and Excellence“, will feature top notch schools and universities (41 institutions from 12 countries!). Come meet their representatives and learn about different post-graduate programs and their specific requirements. Also, hear the first hand experience of studying in Europe from the alumnus of the Erasmus Mundus Association Philippines.
