Getting your portrait taken (solo or with family) was reserved for special occasions back in the day.

It usually happens when there’s a birthday, graduation, wedding anniversary or family reunion. Everyone is gathered around, dressed up and in a festive mood. The portrait is taken in a photo studio or they hire a photographer so they can have it in their ancestral home. It is then printed out and hanged in the living room or dining area.

Then came photo booths and smartphones. It became more convenient and cheaper to document milestones in our personal lives but (to me) it somehow lost that special touch.

Capture your Shang moment with friends, family or even solo and watch out for the official portraits to be uploaded on Shangri-La Plaza’s official Facebook page. You will also be able to view behind the scenes shots on Shang’s Instagram account (@shangrilaplazaofficial).
