Tanjoubi omedetou, Syao-kun!

By on July 15, 2012

If you ask me who is my favorite male anime character right now, I would definitely give you the same answer since I was in grade school – Li Syaoran of Cardcaptor Sakura.

Li Syaoran hails from Hong Kong. The successor of the powerful Li clan, his family consists of his mother, his four sisters and Wei (I count him here because he basically raised Syaoran through the years). He went to Japan to get the Clow cards but falls in love with the enemy 😛

He looks tough on the outside. Yes, he might have been a bit harsh to Sakura at first. But this guy has values, dreams and a loving soul.

It’s More Fun with Friends: Toycon Day 2

By on June 26, 2012

I just realized I haven’t posted about Toycon yet. I went there to meet with my friend Franz and his friends Eves and Apol. I was just going to have my phone fixed (which they didn’t, since it was just a showroom). I didn’t have plans to go inside the Megatrade Halls, however, I didn’t want to be left outside.

Ready to explore, go out and repeat. 😛

Now, take a look into Toycon Day 2!

Movie Review: Prometheus (2012)

By on June 24, 2012

My friends and I were supposed to be in a client meeting yesterday, but since there was some kind of misunderstanding, we ended up agreeing to spend time together. One of them wanted to watch The Amazing Spiderman, the other wanted Prometheus. Since the next Spiderman movie isn’t showing yet, we ended up with Prometheus.

This is one of those times that I didn’t look up information about the movie beforehand. I was expecting the movie to be related to Greek Mythology.

By on June 19, 2012

I’m one of the lucky bloggers who were able to score a special invite for the advance screening and press conference of the French movie Special Forces. Held last June 8, 2012 at the SM Mall of Asia, the press conference came first at the IMAX Theater then the advanced screening at Cinema 1.

Coming alone as always, I am glad to meet and share this experience with a fellow blogger and movie buff.
