My Grandma woke me up by shouting at my ears because a package came in today. She was insisting she doesn’t know what do to with it. Anyway, she could have saved me and the delivery person the trouble by just signing it. Here’s one of the three packages I’m waiting for this week:
If it was possible, I would lay somewhere and do stargazing. I feel calm and happy whenever I see a lot of stars in the sky. This goes the same when I see a full moon, especially when a supermoon or it has an orange color.
A supermoon is the coincidence of a full moon (or a new moon) with the closest approach the moon makes to the Earth. I know this is kinda late but here are some wonderful photos of the supermoon last May 5 from Yahoo!.

I’ve been staying at home for the past couple of days, since I don’t go beyond my ten-minute immediate places to go to. It feels like forever and I’m very uninspired at the moment. Since I’ve been looking over the garage sale with my grandma since Saturday (there were people already buying that day since the items are organized already), I took a little walk around the village.

Philippines as the World’s Best Business English-proficient country
By Dems Angeles on April 25, 2012A small country with 7,107 islands, the Philippines has 120 – 175 recognized languages depending on the classification (4 of which does not have any known speakers anymore).
The original official language of the country is Spanish, given we had the Spanish invasion for three centuries. National Hero Jose Rizal uses Spanish in his works, such as Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo.
The Americans came after and the imposition of the English language gradually reduced the use of Spanish. 1935 Constitution made English an official language alongside Spanish. 1939 came and Tagalog was chosen among regional languages as Wikang Pambansa. It was renamed to Pilipino (1959) and to what we know now as Filipino (1973).
It is no secret that not every Filipino knows how to speak Tagalog and/or English. Depending on the region you live in, you’re most likely taught in your regional language (Ilocano, Cebuano, etc.) and English. And if you do speak English, you have a certain accent, which most of the time people mock you (and the sad thing is, it’s your own countrymen that do).
But after reading an article in Yahoo! Philippines entitled “PH: World’s best country in business English“, I was like “WOW! We beat U.S.? Seriously?”. To top that off, we’re the only country who got a score above of 7.0 and showing that the country’s economy is improving.
This isn’t bias, I assure you. The study was made by GlobalEnglish Corporation.

I was so desperate for him to love me, to want me, to fight for me that I was literally grateful for any mere scrap of effort. I’d made so many excuses for his inability to treat me well that even the smallest gesture was amplified in my head.

If you are OR were a martyr in love, I’m 101% sure you’ve been in this situation and like everywhere else, you’re coined as someone stupid or desperate.
Before ending the tour Sir Lawrence brought us to Arroceros Park. Seriously the best way to unwind after a tiring but fun day. The spot is beside the Pasig River. Yes, no picture since it was past 6 pm already and I was very eager to sit down and relax 😛
Parting ways, I went with Ate Bebang Siy (the author of “It’s A Mens World”), Ate Maru, Kuya Poy and Kuya Wasi to SM Manila for dinner, in Ate Bebang’s insistence so that I wouldn’t have to eat alone daw. And Kuya Wasi accompanied me from SM Manila to MRT. Thank you! 🙂

Fond of ghost hunting? Well, not me. Swear to God I’m a big scared-y cat until now. I think this is the effect of people around me watching to much horror movies, especially when I was young and Shake Rattle & Roll will be broadcast on local channels..
Anyway, I’m already sweaty and tired but go lang ng go! Our next destination is the Metropolitan Theater, which is across the Liwasang Bonifacio.
Manila Metropolitan Theater (or better known as MET) is an art deco building designed by Juan Arellano, one of the great Filipino architects in our history, is tagged as the “grand dame” of Manila’s theaters. It has gone through renovation but it hasn’t been restored to it former glory.
