I have a love-hate relationship with writing. I love it when I do it leisurely, same with reading, but I don’t like it as much when I’m required to. Oh the irony coming from someone who love to blog, eh? Yet it provided me the comfort of expressing myself amidst the noise — a small echo waiting to be heard, a gift from God waiting to be explored.
Being an analyst sounds cool, but most people do not understand what they do and should do. Planning to be one or already in the field? It’s a great thing there’s a one-of-a-kind training available here in the Philippines by Dan Meyer of DMAI.
Here’s another round of upcoming technology events for April 2013! It looks like a slow month for now except the 20th of April. I will be with Philippine Drupal User’s Group (PHDUG) at the 1st Laguna IT Convention: “Technology:Trends:Transformation” on April 6; while on April 13, our church will do the second run of the Manila Business Leadership Seminar (stay tuned for details). List will be updated whenever new events/meetups See you around! 🙂
Technically I’m an out-of-school youth, less than a dozen courses away from my degree. Good thing with today’s technology wherever you are , whatever you do, as long as you have access to the internet, learning opportunities are endless. And that’s what I thank Team Treehouse for.
Let’s face it: we’re all scared of losing the only planet we have. Slowly, we are becoming more eco-aware, and we’re doing whatever small thing we can to save the Earth. This is exactly what this new, revolutionary reusable bag is trying to do: HELP YOU HELP SAVE THE EARTH.
It’s funny when you have more than a dozen stories to tell but you don’t know where to start or how to put it into words. My first entry about the entire January mission trip shared experience was supposed to be about the Manila Business Leadership Seminar, but I’ve written out a semi-reflection entry to get started. I could publish it right now but I don’t want to give my readers incomplete information and resources. I’ll just go with what I can write about so don’t be surprised by non-sequential turn of events 😛
Me and Abby attended the 10am service at Victory Fort with Tita Cheryl, who is going back to the States the following day. Pastor Joey Bonifacio was back from overseas work/travel and the service focused on declarations. He defined declarations as a loud and clear communication and conviction. What we say can affect our lives (Proverbs 18:21a) and it can stir us either in the right or wrong direction, like a ship that’s controlled by a rudder (James 3:4-5a).
Planning to learn and socialize this March? Here’s a list of upcoming tech-related events, seminars, workshops and trainings in the Philippines.
