Choose your destination, experience the difference at Karaoke Republic!

October 9, 2012

After a stress-relieving massage at Spaoay, we were whisked away for a few steps to Karaoke Republic Family KTV and Restaurant. Their Marketing Head, Mr. Jay Lazaro, toured us around the three-story establishment.

The newest KTV in the strip, Karaoke Republic seems to be a hit already with the parking slots almost full.

Space

Stepping inside felt like I was traveling around the world: Great-Biritain, Switsongland, Yeah-Men, Uganda (Mo Kumanta), Viretnam, and Sing-a-pore to name a few ๐Ÿ˜›

There are few rooms named after the branches of the government like “Songpreme Justice Court“, which is where we stayed, that can hold bigger groups. It could actually provide a dance floor if we wanted one. The other rooms can accommodate a group of eight.

All in all there are 22 rooms. Not only are the names catchy, every room is also clean, well-lit, spacious and painted with bright colors. The chairs are comfortable and the air-conditioning is sufficient.

Tech

Karaoke Republic boasts their advanced technology – from their high definition audio system, wide screen LED to their electronic song list.

I can voucher for these, as I have observed Mr. Lazaro and my fellow bloggers enjoy the night away singing their favorite songs. There are also bulky song books available if you’d rather do it the manual way of searching. For the lovers of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, WiFi is accessible to guests.

Chow

What makes Karaoke Republic different from neighboring KTVs is their in-house restaurant. You don’t need to worry if you and your friends get hungry, they got you covered. From appetizers to rice meals, we were able to sample some of the dishes in their menu.

L-R clockwise: Fruit Platter, Nachos (Family – P345), Mixed Fruit Salad (P150), French Fries Platter (P300)

Since I was still full with my gastronomic experience at Comida Ilocandia, I just ate some French Fries (the ones with sour cream), Nachos, Spaghetti and Pizza. If there were more than enough utensils (the house was full and our room had more than 25 people), I would have tried Sisig, Sizzling Mushroom and California Maki. *drools*

Whether it’s for a simple gathering, a date or a full-blown karaoke birthday celebration, Karaoke Republic offers ala carte or food sets for a group of 5, 10, 15 and even 30 in affordable prices and generous servings.
