Our country has been blessed with beautiful scenery and rich natural resources. However, present issues on climate change and waste management (to name a few) are indicators that we have not been taking care of Mother Earth as we’re supposed to.
To encourage everyone to Protect, Respect and Oversee the sensible and sustainable care for the environment, let’s start this year’s Earth Day celebration in the Philippines with a fun run! Presented by Malungai Life Oil and UPS – United Parcel Service, and organized by Earth Day Network Philippines (EDNP), PRO Earth Run is happening on April 12, 2014, 4:30 AM. Runners will assemble at 34th corner 9th Street, Bonifacio Global City.
EDNP is a local counterpart of the Earth Day Network International – a network organization composed of groups and individuals from both public and private sectors that coordinates and spearheads the annual celebration of Earth Day every April 22.
