Free load credits when you SMART Shop and Load at Shopwise!

October 5, 2016

Rustan’s Super Center Inc. (RSCI) partners with Smart Communications, staying true to its commitment in giving you a better and more convenient shopping experience.

You don’t need to make a separate trip to the customer service area or look for the nearest loading station anymore to top up load credits. You may now buy Smart load products in all Shopwise, Rustan’s and Wellcome supermarkets!

I was one of the first to try this new service at Shopwise Cubao. The experience is similar when you buy load from your suking tindahan. Just give your mobile number and the amount of load credits. The cashier, (in this case) Ms. Roselle, will process it through the store’s POS alongside your grocery items. You will get SMS confirmation in a few minutes, with the transaction is printed out on the receipt.

“We have worked with our fulfillment partner Remitbox to fully integrate the loading process,” according to Ms. Kat Luna-Abelarde, FVP and Head of Wireless Consumer Operations for Smart.

RSCI is a member of Filipino company Rustan’s Group that pioneered the hypermarket concept in the Philippines through Shopwise. Its four brands — Rustan’s Supermarket, Rustan’s Marketplace, Shopwise, and Wellcome – operate a combined 53 branches nationwide. This year Shopwise is celebrating its 18th anniversary and as a treat for its loyal customers, you get FREE P18 load credits for every P100 load purchased. This promo will run until October 31, 2016 only!

Not only those who are living near the RSCI-affiliated stores will benefit from this partnership. This is a lifesaver for those who are traveling around the country, especially somewhere new. For me, it’s reassuring that I have somewhere to refill supplies AND load up my phone in a safe and familiar place. This new service is also available for Talk ‘N Text and Sun subscribers.
